Day 1: HCMC
We’ll meet you at the airport and take
you to your hotel. You can then start
exploring the city’s wondrously chaotic
streets.
Day 2: HCMC - Cu Chi - HCMC
This morning we drive to Cu Chi to go
underground and explore this famous
secret tunnel system that stretched
over hundreds of kilometers during
the war. After this unique experience
we return to HCMC for lunch and
more history with the War Remnants
Museum and the Reunifi cation Palace.

Day 3: HCMC - My Tho
Down south in the Mekong Delta, aka
the ‘rice bowl’, is the town of My Tho.
From here we take a boat ride down
the Mekong to the Thai Son Islands,
stopping at orchards to taste sweet
local fruit and honey on the way.
After lunch, it’s back to HCMC and
plenty of free time to do your own thing.

Day 4: HCMC
A day to do whatever you like. You
could check out the amazing markets
or burgeoning boutiques. Or search
the streets for the best pho or noodles,
freshly made and full of herbs. (B)
Day 5: HCMC - Hue
After fl ying to Hue and settling in at
our hotel, get your bearings with a tour
of this former imperial city. Then you’re
free to explore the riverside or serene
back streets in your own time before dinner at a local restaurant. (B/L/D)
Day 6: Hue - Danang - Hoi An
This morning you’ll cruise down the Perfume River to the beautiful Thien Mu Pagoda, as well as the impressive mausoleums of Emperors Ming Mang, Khai Dinh and Tu Duc. After lunch enjoy superb views as we travel over the Hai Van Pass to Hoi An, stopping at famous China Beach, Cham Museum and Marble Mountain on the way. (B/L/D)
Day 7: Hoi An
This morning we explore the town's beautifully preserved merchant houses and the Japanese covered bridge.
The afternoon is spent cruising the waterways of this once thriving port to the Cua Dai estuary, watching life on the river and stopping at a water coconut tree grove. (B/L)
Day 8: Hoi An - Danang - Hanoi
If you haven’t already, make sure
you visit the lively market this morning
before our fl ight to stately Hanoi.

Day 9: Hanoi - Halong Bay
You can't come to this town without paying your respects at Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, and visiting 'Uncle Ho's' former home and the One Pillar Pagoda. Then enjoy the sights of the northern countryside as we drive to Halong Bay, stopping for lunch on the way. (B/L/D)
Day 10: Halong Bay - Hanoi
Spend a memorable day cruising one of the world's great natural wonders. The bay's thousands of limestone
islands are fi lled with caves and grottos to explore. Lunch is fresh seafood onboard before we return
to Hanoi. And dinner? Good French and regional Vietnamese food is easy to fi nd on Hanoi's streets. (B/L)
Day 11: Hanoi - Ninh Binh
From Tam Coc we cruise downstream in small boats through magnifi cent tunnels and caves in this stunning landscape known as Halong Bay on rice paddies. The view from a pagoda built into a cliff face is a must for your camera. At Hoa Lu we visit temples from the Dinh and Le dynasties before returning to lively Hanoi. (B/L)
Day 12: Hanoi
Make your own way today. This city of wide boulevards and restful lakes is full of hidden treasures. The bustling Old Quarter is also a must. (B)
Day 13: Hanoi - Luang Prabang
This morning we fl y to the former royal town of Luang Prabang via Vientiane. Once our local guide has settled you into your hotel the rest of the day is free to get into the languid pace. Meet the local hilltribe people selling their wares at the market or try your fi rst Lao coffee – perhaps at a little French patisserie. (B/D)
Day 14: Luang Prabang
After visiting the former Royal Palace on the river, we start exploring this wonderland of gilded wats at Wat Xieng Thong, Wat Ami and Wat Visoun. In the afternoon a short boat ride down the Mekong takes you to Pak Ou caves, fi lled with hundreds of Buddha statues. Back in town, take in the sunset panorama from Mount Phousi. (B/L)
Day 15: Luang Prabang
This is a great place to chill out so nothing’s planned for today. You may want to step out at dawn to see the monks receiving alms, or organise a ride out to the Kuang Si falls. (B)
Day 16: Luang Prabang - Vientiane
A free morning before your fl ight to riendly Vientiane. We tour the golden splendour of Wat Phat That Luang, as well as Wat Haw Phra Kaew and the oldest temple, Wat Si Saket. Patouxai, the Laos version of an Arc de Triomphe, is also on the agenda. The rest of the day is free. Head down to the Mekong for a Beer Lao at sunset. (B/L/D)
Day 17: Vientiane - Phnom Penh
After flying to Phnom Penh, our guide will meet you and take you to your hotel. After lunch we visit the Royal Palace, the shimmering Silver Pagoda and the National Museum. Then view the city from the Mekong on a river cruise. (B/L/D)
Day 18: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap
You'll fly to Siem Reap, gateway to the amazing temples of Angkor, and should be in your hotel in time for lunch. Your day is free to explore the local markets or simply relax by the pool. (B/L/D)
Day 19: Siem Reap
Today is spent at the amazing temples at Angkor. Wonder at the carvings of Banteay Srei, Neak Pean, Preah
Khan. In the afternoon explore junglebound Ta Keo and Ta Prohm before the unforgettable sight of sunset
over magnifi cent Angkor Wat. Enjoy traditional dancing at this evening's dinner. (B/L/D)
Day 20: Siem Reap
A free day. Take a tuk tuk out to explore more of Angkor, or enjoy some last minute R & R. (B/L)
Day 21: Siem Reap
After your last breakfast in Indochina, your time is free before we take you to the airport for your fl ight to Ho Chi Minh City. (B) |
